Earth Day has come and gone and while the rain forced us to move indoors, the workshops were a huge success!
Since we had to move into the gymnasium, I figured that hammered botanical prints might be a little noisy, so in consideration of our fellow Earth Day presenters, we switched things up and created some greeting cards using natural inks - just in time for Mother's Day, which is around the corner.
We weren't sure exactly how many people to expect throughout the day, but the event on the whole saw about 300 people pass through! Thanks the volunteers who helped me facilitate and to everyone who came by to express your creativity in making beautiful artwork and cards!
